New Attitude
Step 10 - Day Time Walking Around Step
- Continue to watch for selfishness, dishonesty, resentment, and fear.
- When these crop up, we ask God at once to remove them.
- We discuss them with someone immediately and make amends quickly if we have harmed anyone.
- Then we resolutely turn our thoughts to someone we can help.
- Love and tolerance of others is our code.
How can I best serve Thee—Thy will (not mine) be done.
We commence to put our AA way of living to practical use, day by day, in fair weather or foul.
These practical prayers produce a new attitude and are the beginning of my new relationship with my Creator.
To deal with my anger, I try to view those who harm me as spiritually ill. I pray to be released from the control that my anger has on me.
To outgrow my fear, I try to see that the reason for my fears is that I believe I have only myself to rely upon.
Regarding sex, I try to realize that my selfishness is the cause of my sex problems.
Every time I invite God into a situation, the dynamics immediately change. Invite God in every situation.
